Life's Journey

You might be asking what has been happening to this sole! or maybe not.
Six months or more have flown by quickly.
The house I owned has been sold. In just 7 days of going to market! That is how electric the Sydney (Aust) property market is at present.
I was notified that I would be made redundant as at 25 August 2014, after 9 years at the one employer.
Also this is is a 'Zero' one. I had been planning to travel to mark this milestone of life.

The past 25 years I have always wished to go to South America. Two days ago I made this a reality.
I have booked my airfare for departure from Sydney on 17 Sept 2015.
So If I was to be away for 5 weeks, and then to come back and start looking for a new job in the lead up to Christmas might be difficult. Rather than 5 weeks away I will now be away for 20 weeks!
I will need a job upon my return.

So now the booking and planning begins.
The overview is.
Sydney to Santiago, to Lima, to Cuzco, to Machu Picchu, back to Cuzco. Then transit Lima and go to Iguazu Falls, Then to Buenus Aries , Rio, finally onto London by 27 October. Then to Belgium to Setup base at Waremme. Then there will be small trips here and there. New Year is planned to be at Barcelona. Back to London and Paris. Finally returning to Australia around 25 January.

Now back to the web searches and planning the accomodation.
The best thing of travelling when you are younger is that your can just get on a plane or train and go some where. Find a Youth Hostel or such like for the night. As I have become older, I wish not to take those risks and more. Also online booking websites make it much easier.
